We had Firefly overnight last night as it was her parents anniversary and they were gifted an overnight stay in Shepherdstown! Not sure whose the luckiest us for having Firefly or them for spending time in Shep! Thinking we need to get back there and soon. Two months has been far too long! She was such a JOY to have here! Lord I love that child!! Some of the things she says and the ways she acts is just so funny. We rented a movie and watched it snuggled in bed together until we fell asleep. Up way too early....because she just had to get to those kittens outside. Coffee was a major part of my day! Dressed and headed out to catch a yard sale. Im not one to run to yardsales EVER...but she was looking forward to finding just one that had lots of little girl stuff and we did just that! Major scores on little girl types of toys for her and oh my the books! She got nearly 30 level one read yourself books for the summer to keep up on her reading. Breakfast with PaPa then headed to the Discovery Station downtown! AMAZING time! Picked up Nanny and met my sister and soon to be niece in law with my sisters son at a local park where they played and had a good time together. Back to Nannys to deliver her to her parents and a quick run to walmart. Home now and cooking for tomorrow at the land. Wow bed will be very anticipated this evening!

The Thyme has come! This next season of our lives promises to be full of plenty of ups and downs and much physical, mental and emotional work. Larry and I are setting out to the desires of our hearts and the calling of Yashua! We have had this dream in our hearts for many years and we are arriving at the door of opportunity. With the children grown and married and us still young we are going full on in the spirit of faith. Come along and enjoy the Wild Thymes ahead with us!

Wednesday.....June 11, 2014
Last day of a busy agenda....then a much needed rest tomorrow before it all begins yet again. Onced again, so thankful next week looks so much better! Didnt have to rush out of the house at the wee hours this morning was nice. Coffee on the porch with devotions and the kittens playing at my feet. Cassie was struggling with a migrane so dropped off a green juice for her then met Marcy at a local fresh organic restaurant in town (Rhubarb House). Left there and we headed back to Chambersburg for a yoga class but first some window shopping in town. Home before the big storms hit. Dinner was so yummy and refreshing. Salad with strawberries, roasted chicken and a balsmatic vinegar. YUM! The storms were pretty bad most of the night through. Larry is really concerned for the framed out goat barn on the property. We will see how it faired on Sunday. Long day and late night!

Wow amazing. There isnt much to the property but already I miss it! The last two days there were such bliss im a little homesick for it. Woke sore this morning but knowing it was for a good reason was worth it all. A little home time then off to meet the girls for lunch and haircuts. And a little shopping of course. Home and relaxing with some new season of Mountain Men with my amazing Man before up and out for another busy day away from home yet again tomorrow.

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...Grey skies with a chance of some rain.
I am thinking...How last week was so nice and slow and this week just seemed to blow up
I am thankful...For a God that intervenes just when we need him even if we dont know we do.
In the kitchen...Finding just how much I love fresh strawberries in our salads, add a lemon roasted chicken breast and some pea shoots and oh MY!
I am wearing...Light skinny jeans, grey tank top and a new boho sleeveless light knit long cardigan, flip flops!
I am creating...Some new fiber arts.
I am going...To be doing yet more packing and purging around home.
I am wondering...Just how all of these future plans are going to fall into place. Most days im so very optimistic but there is an occasional day where I am wondering...
I am reading...A novel..."Home to Woefield"
I am hoping...For a slower week next week
I am looking forward to...Strawberry picking next week with all of my girls.
I am learning....To just do what comes next.....
Around the house...So very much laundry and house keeping to be done after a busy weekend.
I am pondering...Finally stopped pondering what could have happened to that man of mine with the chain saw in his hand over the weekend!
A favorite quote for today...Communicate. Even when its uncomfortable or easy. One of the best ways to heal, is simply getting everything out and if you live bitterly, you live a lonely existence.
One of my favorite things...Listening to the constant banter of movie phrases flowing as if conversation between my two girls.
A few plans for the rest of the week:.....Haircut and lunch with the girls, Lunch date and yoga with a dear friend, another trip to the property to deliver a load of free plywood, breakfast date with my man and an overnighter with Firefly!
A peek into my day...

Monday....June 9, 2014.....
Starting on the goat barn.....and trying very hard to keep it at a minimal cost. As of today the total investment was $9.00! Had the help of James and Katie today. Dont let the pic of katie surprise you...she looks cool and comfy but she helped carry skids! Also, the electric company came today with a work order. They determined we will have a permit to have Residential services over Temporary service. So thankful for that. The cost is way less with Residential. Called the excavator to have him take care of the Liscensed Electrician to do the work from the pole. The goat barn may not look like much today but over the next couple of weeks it will actually look amazing!

Saturday...June 7, 2014...
The long awaited day for a special little girl! She absolutely loves dance and we saw it this year for sure. She did an amazing job. Our niece owns the dance studio locally and it is totally christian based and is just awesome. Just some shots from the day. Lunch afterwards was in a new cafe downtown Hagerstown called Yumminess Cafe. Very good food and service hope they get the business needed to thrive downtown.

Friday...June 6, 2014.....
What a whirl wind of a day! Up early for a walk with the little man then headed to Hagerstown to do some shopping and lunch with the Mother-In-Law. A run to pick up the bacon and cheese order. Target for a gift card for a special little firefly that has her recital tomorrow afternoon. Then to this amazing water color paint class held at a local coffee shop. Enjoyed it way more than I expected. I think im hooked. Definately more in the future. Off to bed early, another busy day tomorrow.
